Joplin Police respond to "threat to do harm" Friday before Biden visit

No arrests came from it, but a Joplin Police Department incident report indicates the police responded to Joplin High School 8:36 a.m. Friday morning for a "threat to do harm."

Friday, of course, was a busy day at the high school, with numerous dignitaries, including Vice President Joe Biden, Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, and Gov. Jay Nixon attending the dedication ceremony for the new high school and Franklin Technical Center, which included the cutting of a six-and-a-half-mile ceremonial ribbon.

Threat to whom and with what? Word is they took a freshman out in handcuffs who had a weapon. But we will never get the truth of the matter if it makes R8 look bad, will we?
