Bright Futures: Help make ribbon-cutting a day community will never forget

The Joplin Bright Futures website has put out a call for volunteers from the Bright Futures partners to help with Friday's Joplin High School  dedication ceremony, which will include speeches by Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and the cutting of a record-breaking six-and-a-half-mile ribbon,

From the Bright Futures Facebook page:

We are working on all of the final details with the Secret Service and the Vice President's staff for this Friday's ribbon cutting - it's going to be such an exciting day for our community! If you'd like to serve at this event, we could definitely use your help! Please send an email to dalepeterson@joplinschools.org if you'd like to plug in. There are lots of ways to serve, and we would certainly love to have you help us make this a day our community will never forget! Thank you!
