Americans for Prosperity to Nixon: We need free market energy solutions

(From American for Prosperity Missouri)

With today's inaugural public meeting of Governor Nixon's energy committee, Americans for Prosperity renews its call for free market energy solutions. Americans for Prosperity applauds Gov. Nixon for showing the much needed leadership in recognizing the need for a comprehensive energy strategy for the state of Missouri, and encourages him to seek energy solutions that are affordable and reliable.

AFP laid out its long-term comprehensive policy document entitled "Path to Prosperity" earlier this year highlighting nine key issue areas that, if addressed, would grow our state economically and create jobs.

In anticipation of this meeting, AFP-Missouri State Director Patrick Werner said, "In order to compete for jobs in the 21st century, Missouri needs a comprehensive energy plan that focuses on free market principles. We call on Governor Nixon and the MO Energy Committee to seek free market energy solutions that promote Missourians' access to affordable, reliable energy with limited government intrusion."

What a joke. AFP is just the mouth piece for the Koch brothers.
