Five-star review for 5:41: Stories from the Joplin Tornado

The book 5:41: Stories from the Joplin Tornado received another five-star rating from an Amazon reviewer this week.

The review was short and succinct:

"A tragic day for Joplin. You feel like you were there."

5:41: Stories from the Joplin Tornado will be available, and so will my books Spirit of Hope, Scars from the Tornado, No Child Left Alive, Small Town News, Newspaper Days, and the Turner Report, during a book signing 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, August 23, at Always Buying Books.

It will also be the first official signing for my newest paperback Let Teachers Teach.

The signing, which is taking place during the last day of Always Buying Books owner Bob Wolfe's three-day Wordstock sale, will also feature local authors Larry Wood, Cheryle Finley, Michele Hansford, and Helen Hunter.
